In recent years Christian has become determined to be a voice for those living with facial differences- his loudest message, drawn from his experiences, is to emphasise the vital importance of acceptance, compassion and never, ever suffering in silence. All three are fundamentally essential particularly when related to mental health issues.
Christian has had close to 50 surgeries and he feels he can especially help children and teenagers, who are facing a long road ahead.
He has been involved with two US-based organisations, Face the Future Foundation in Chicago and Children’s Craniofacial Association in Dallas, dedicated to helping children born with facial differences – both emotionally and financially.
